Model 911 Series of Rifle Actions

The action is referred to by many as the heart of an accurate rifle, and we at Underground Skunkworks do not disagree with this statement.  Yes, it does take more to build an accurate rifle than the action, but a solid and precise foundation is a must.  We designed our actions to accomplish one purpose; To build the ultimate in Precision Tactical Rifles.  We then contacted Glen Harrison at Defiance Machine (www.defiancemachine.com).  Glen is the founder of Nesika Bay and he's become the "Go To" guy for a lot of us in the industry.  The end result is the Underground Skunkworks Model 911 Action and we offer three variants of the Model 911 :  

Model 911 (Stand Alone):  This is our "700 Clone" and it is a true drop in for any Remington 700 style stock.  It shares the same physical dimensions of the Remington 700, but that is where the similarities end.  The "Stand Alone" has a one-piece bolt with a Mini M-16 Extractor, Plunger Ejector, Side Bolt Release and our Precision Ground Recoil Lug that's pinned to the receiver face.  We left more material in the receiver for increased rigidity and the "Stand Alone" features the Guardian Magazine Well that allows the receiver to be fed from an Accuracy International AI or AW Magazine.  We're making the Model 911 "Stand Alone" available for purchase, complete and ready to build on for $950. 

The kits include the Receiver, Bolt, Side Bolt Release, Complete Guided Firing Pin Kit, Extractor, Ejector and Precision Ground Recoil Lug.  The Underground Skunkworks Picatinny Rail can be ordered as an option for $149.00.  The Skunkworks rail is a true MilStd 1913 rail manufactured from stainless steel and can be ordered Flat or 20 MOA for the SA but we can make them with any amount of forward tilt as long as it is specified at time of order.

Model 911 (Compatible):  The "Compatible" is a touch more Custom than the "Stand Alone."  With the additional engraving of the Underground Skunkworks logo, the Defiance Primary Extraction and the longer Lapua Style Port, the "Compatible" is available for in-house custom builds only.  It sports all the other features of the "Stand Alone" and will drop into a Remington 700 stock.  The stock will require a few finishing touches, but that's what the customs are all about.

Model 911 (Standard):  The "Standard" is a complete departure from the "Clones."  It features our Longer Barrel Thread Tenon (1.403") and a Coned, One piece Bolt of our own design that incorporates a unique Controlled Round Feed that is Push Feed Capable and Dual Extraction with Mechanical Eject.  It also features our Side Bolt Release and it's fed from an Accuracy International AI magazine.  All other features are the same as the "Compatible."

Model 911 (Military):  The "Military" was designed for a dynamic environment where the utmost in reliability is imperative.  The "Military" shares all of the same physical and functional characteristics as the "Standard," but we've incorporated a few additional features that are specific to the harsh environment it was intended for.  It's also configured for the unique Underground Skunkworks 20 MOA MilStd 1913 Rail with and integral flip-up rear sight.

All of the Model 911 actions use Remington style triggers, are available in right or left hand, Stainless Steel or Chromoly and are offered in Long Action with standard or Magnum Bolt Face.  The "Compatible" and "Standard" accept the Underground Skunkworks 20MOA Picatinny Rail and are compatible with the Underground Skunkworks DBM.
